help with amiga emulation

Hi all,

Long time no see. I got a new computer about a year ago and I'm trying to get the old Dungeon Master Amiga emulation-version up and running again. It used to run fine on my old computer, but when I set it up now it runs SLOWWWWW. Is there something new going on with WinUAE or what? When I load up Dungeon Master 2.0 it takes about 4 minutes just to get to the opening screen. Any help is appreciated! Thanks --Nick

Have you tried upping the memory? There is a tab under hardware then RAM.

I can understand you not using the PC version, it's not always the most stable version but rather than emulation you might want to try CSBWin, it has the Atari ST versions of DM and CSB available and runs perfectly. Go to http://dmweb.free.fr - that has some info and download links.

Thanks!!! It does work great. I had to search for CSBWin though...maybe they should post it on the downloads page for Dungeon Master. Anyway, thanks so much for the tip!
