Graphics Resolution

Post by George Gilbert »

As suggested in another thread (which I now can't find again!) RTC V0.35 now allows you to specify that all graphics are shown in low resolution (using an option in the config.txt file).

This means that, if say a monster is a few tiles away from you, when the engine scales its bitmap to give the impression of perspective it will keep the graphics looking "blocky" rather than use the full resolution of the screen.

I'm sure most people won't use this, but with the option, RTC can now be configured to look almost identical to DM / CSB if you so wish.
