Recovering missiles

Post by Lunever »

There was some time ago a thread, that playing actually a ninja is unnerving because you have only 5 shots and have to recover them manually again and again, and whether it would be possible to recover them automatically. While that might be to complicated for the engine, a more simple solution would do also:
If you click an item on the energy bars of a character, it is already put into his backback without opening the inventory menu.
At that point, it should be checked, whether an item is suitable for the quiver, and if so, it should be placed there rather than in the backpack (In RTC mode only, of course).

Really? I never noticed! That would make using missiles again an interesting option. Say, George, did you also change the unnerving quiver behaviour to draw a stored melee weapon first instead of last?

I would very much prefer to have the large quiver object drawn last, so a ninja/fighter could throw 4 poison darts and then have his diamond edge at hand, instead of throwing just 1 dart, then have his blade at hand and 3 useless darts left in the dead quiver slots.
