[Done for V0.39] Sounds are noisy

Post by DragonsLover »

Is it normal that sounds are so noisy instead of the previous versions? It looks like the sounds were a little bit loudy and I hear them like if the volume was really high. Like with "crrr" at some times! Know what I mean?

Sound in V0.36 is being routed via a different library in V0.36 (using FMOD rather than DirectX in V0.35 and earlier) and so it's quite possible that the sound is a different volume.

As long as everything is either louder or everything is quieter (i.e. it's not that one particular sound is much louder) then the fix is to adjust the volume on your speakers

George, you could add a VOLUME var in config.txt maybe...

Yeah, I would agree of this too: Have the possibility to change the value of the volume of all the sounds in the game, like from 0 to 100.

Anyway, it is a little bit annoying, so I'll play in spite of that.

EDIT: WTF? I just played the game again and everything is ok! :D

For V0.39 I've added an internal volume control (which can be set seperately for sounds and music).

Now that we have separate sound and music controls - please, can you have the sound and music settings last used by a player saved in the savegame?
