I just realised, do pillars have a front, back, and sides view to can replace?
For example, the statue idea, which would probably be a cloned pillar, wouldn't be possible if the thing looks the same all the way around!

Ah, good point. Nope, they only have one view.... It would be good to extend this, and would make other furniture clones more realistic.

This is cool! You previously suggested to me GG to use cloned pillars (or floor items) for creating my balcony. This wouldn't have worked because of the facing problem

If these items now have a facing, pretty much anything is possible! Can you make them variable height too? ;)

Actually, this now means creating at least 9 distinct images for a pillar that is assymetrical with facings! Whew, a lot of work!

Yes - asymmetric tables are possible in V0.36...
