Editable projectile speed
I noticed that projectiles (thrown items or spells) fly faster in RTC than in the original. This makes dodging much more difficult, potentially making the game more interesting (for experienced players and custom dungeons), but also more frustrating (for newer players just getting started with DM). Would it be possible to edit the speed of projectiles? I think the default value for this speed should go down.

Hmmm - this might be quite tricky because of the turn-based nature of DM / RTC (specifically it's not a real time game, there are just very short turns - 1/6th of a second - so it looks quite like one).
Currently objects fly at a rate of 1/2 a tile every turn (i.e. the fastest possible rate). It could be changed to 1/2 a tile every 2/6ths of a second (or 3/6ths, 4/6ths etc etc) but that's the limit to the degree of customisation.
I would expect that anything slower than 2/6ths would look very strange and it's not possible to have a speed inbetween (say 3/12ths).
Nevertheless I'll take a look and see what can be done, but imagine not alot.

Err, no! I always disliked the slowly floating arrows in original DM, and I'm glad, that RTC does handle this faster. An option to make projectile speed editable would be ok of course, but a general slowing of projectiles wouldn't be a goo thing.

This is kind of a silly distinction. By this logic there is no such thing as a "real time" game on a computer-- some simply use turns as short as perhaps 1/60th of a second.it's not a real time game, there are just very short turns - 1/6th of a second - so it looks quite like one

There's no reason why this is the fastest possible rate. An object could fly its entire distance in ONE frame, in fact. This might be a useful feature to have for faster-firing weapons.Currently objects fly at a rate of 1/2 a tile every turn (i.e. the fastest possible rate).

Why? It's not like the game is actually running at 6fps. (Except maybe on Adamo's computer)it's not possible to have a speed inbetween (say 3/12ths).
