[fixed for V0.36] Error In Example Dungeon

Post by Lee »

In the Complex Actions example dungeon (which is great btw :) ), at the Caged Bonzai part... I let it go, captured it, and let it go again to see if I could kill it. I threw a Club at it and it hit it, while not killing it... so then I walked up to it and punched it once and it died. Then I went to pick up the club which was on the same square it died on, just to see if there was a miniature something left behind lol but RTC crashed out to windows with an error. Here's the diagnostic thingy:

RTC (V0.36) Diagnostic file - Thu Mar 30 13:25:05 2006

Error:
an access violation exception.

Stack Dump:
RTC.PickUpStdObject(char 9, char 6, char 2, char 2);
RTC.MouseLButtonDownInDungeon();
RTC.OnLMouseButtonDown(int 135, int 331);
RTC.WinMain();

Doh. This is caused by you picking up the screamer slice that's left behind on the square (but incorrectly has an invisible bitmap!). I've simply corrected the V0.36 build and posted this up on the RTC website.

Anyone who downloaded RTC within the first couple of hours (specifically before the date stamp on this post - there are only about 10 people) should re-download it...sorry!
