[Fixed for V0.38] Readied action not saved

Post by Lunever »

Hmm, seems that a previously fixed bug has crept back into RTC: An item readied in the action hand of a character will be unreadied when loading a savegame. If a character with a readied item has cast a spell right then he might not be able to reactivate the item due to waiting period, which can be quite long in case of multiple spells. So please, refix this bug.

Fixed for V0.38 (amusingly, the state was saved correctly into the save file, it just wasn't being read out correctly).

Ok, thanks. It does make a difference because RTC linearly accumulates recovery times after multiple spell-casting. If my Wuuf exhausts himself by succesively burning his full 400 Mana I have to let him sleep for a while just to recover his action hand into a usable state. Hereby I suggest having a cap for the maximum recovery time, or maybe introducing an algorithm similar to the one currently discussed in regard to the maximum light level: Have the most exhausting action be counted in fully, and additional actions partially.
