I don't know if it's a bug or if I'm doing it wrong but I can't get the attack graphics to work for close attack types.
I've cloned a giggler and called it "thief". I've given it three close attack methods - steal, kick and punch.
I've imported graphics for the thief including a graphic of it kicking and a graphic of it punching and of it stealing.
I've added the steal graphic under close attack bitmap 1, the kick graphic under close attack bitmap 2 and the punch graphic under close attack bitmap 3 in the editor when editing the thief. I don't know what to put for "attack graphic", but I've tried it both as NULL and with a graphic.
When I play the game, only the "steal" attack graphic ever plays, so either the thief is never using his other attack methods or the graphics don't work.
This is weird: If I save the dungeon and reload it in the editor, and bring up the resource of the thief, all three close attack methods have been replaced by the same "steal" graphic. However, if I load the text file into a text editor, the three attack graphics are listed so it's saving and loading the text file correctly but not displaying the right graphics in the editor.
[Fixed for V0.39] Can't get the attack graphics to work.

You may find the overall attack graphic above overrides the other graphics.... I am not sure
I had this problem, and I am sure solved it when I nulled out the main attack grphic. I will check it out - if this is so, then it is perhaps the opposite of hos it should work - you would want the default to be used unless others have been specified
You may also find the editor very rarely enforced what it thinks of as right (for backwards compatibilty adapting)

Ye,s i believe so...nto sure how the new six slots work , what i do know it is was a percentage of the available attacks when it was three - so each one has the same chance of being used. If you want to weight it, you would put say the same attack twice in two slots and have a third ion one to get a 2:1 ration

Hi George,
I don't know if you've had a chance to look at this, but the attack graphics seem to be quite messed up generally
I've just created a creature with a close and ranged attack (only one of each) and allocated a different graphic to the close attack 1 and ranged attack 1 graphic slots. In game, only the ranged attack 1 graphic ever plays, the close attack never does even when he is attacking with his close attack, when the ranged attack graphic plays.
