-on dungeon lvl 2 (the one after you chose your heros) all the way at the end, where the "put something valuable to close trap" i got that, (it also replicates what you throw in..^_~), but that not my question, there is another teliporting wall of some kinds, but it dusent teloport, you cant go through it, cant throw anything through it (i found that out the hard way, i got a dagar to the face..lmao) but theres a chest behind it, how the hell do i get the chest?!
-what is the best/fastest way to up your cha lvl, my ninjas are top nkotch, but i cant always use them, but my fighters suck! they never hit, and the rare chance they do, they dont do much damage.
-one more thing, dus equiping a buccler/shield, in your off hand (the one you dont attack with) make it to where you MAY block enemy attacks, if not how to i equipt it?
P.S.
this isnt the game i though it was, so im new at this whole thing, but its AWSOM!!!!

an emergancy exit at 20,000 feet, an illution of safty ---- (fight club)
Shields: In RTC they are increasing armour protection when carried in the left hand, in other engines I don't know.
Chest: Read the wall text in the parallel floor: "Don't let a closed door stop you". Come on, your characters are stronger and smarter than a stupid door, aren't they?
Best way to up a character? There are spells to create stat boosting potions. With boosted stats you do more damage, and for more damage you get more XP.

On the exp note, you also get more exp the lower down the dungeon you go, so the exp is crap on level 2 but by the time to get to, say, level 10 it's much better. You also get more exp when actually practising on something...I mean a monster, not a wall/door/open air. So if you're hitting a monster with a sword you get more Fighter exp than if oyu're just swinging the sword in empty air.

The door I speak about is exactly the door that circumvents the teleporter and leads right to the chest.
While it is possible to slowly up characters by hitting doors or thin air for hours, this is pretty boring. Best you play through until you reach the screamer chamber 2 levels below. There you can regrow screamers by stepping on a hidden trigger and have real combat training with them. Even more efficient is the similarly set up rat room several levels below. Best sparing partner however is Lord Chaos himself. Attacking him potion-powered is very rewarding in XP, for he cannot be killed by conventional means. Yet, more entertaining than boring repetitive training is importing your characters into Chaos Strikes Back once you have mastered Dungeon Master, in RTC you can even reimport characters to play the Dungeon Master dungeon again, with upgraded monsters, if you feel CSB to be still to difficult.
