Here's something cool that popped up in my bulk mail folder today:
http://www.ragingmole.com/RTC
I just about had an orgasm when I learned a full DMII dungeon now exists for RTC. Sorry if this seems largely irrelevant, but being a huge fan of DMII, it's just about the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Er, this isn't cool but made me laugh out loud at work today. Surely not even Channel 4 can sink this low....

OkGo dancing clips : I'm a fan.
A Million Ways : their big hit.

Their new amazing choregraphy :

Probably one of the best of 400+ entries from the 'A million ways/YouTube' contest where you had to reproduce perfectly their original choregraphy :

These guys are a local doncaster band. They say they're punk, but more sort of skater rock type (think Blink, Avril LAvigne, etc). THey are really good, especially considering they're only twelve and thirteen year olds. Try them at www.nofears.co.uk. I saw them live in Thorne PArk and they were excellent. I'm sure they'll go far.
Hope you like them!

To all PS2 owners out there: Have you played Guitar Hero yet? If not, I highly recommend doing so. It is a game that comes with a guitar controller, and you have to play 30 more or less famous songs. The game features bands like Black Sabbath, Megadeth, Deep Purple, Pantera, Franz Ferdinand, Queen, Queens of the Stone Age, Ozzy Osbourne and this classic Motörhead song:

I'm not nearly as good as the guy in the video, but it captures the game very well.

Utterly awful but soooo bad you just have to laugh at the sheer cheek of it. Still, looks better than Kylie did in Streetfighter:

Oh, yes. Guitar Hero is awesome. My cousin has it and let me play it. I got pretty good, and even started liking those famous rock songs. Guitar Hero ranks up there with DDR. Needs some sequels, though.Trantor wrote:To all PS2 owners out there: Have you played Guitar Hero yet? If not, I highly recommend doing so.

A sequel is in the making and will hopefully be ready before Christmas. Among others, it will include War Pigs by Black Sabbath. Here's to hoping it will also include some Iron Maiden or Metallica!TyGuy6 wrote:Oh, yes. Guitar Hero is awesome. My cousin has it and let me play it.
