To level 8

Post by komunita »

Can somebody please help me find the way down from level 7 to level 8. On the map it appears to be on the upper left corner but I cannot find the passage to the stairs ?

Hoc = 0 or HoC = 1? If the HoC is Level 1, the way down to the next level is just around the corner from the stairs. If HoC is Level 0 then if I remember rightly, after descending from the previous level you just go around to the left, follow the wall past a forcefield or two and it's in there somewhere... There may be a button on the wall nearby to open it or something, but I can't remember off the top of me head. It's certainly not in the northeast corner...

There is a solid door in a small passageway if you work your way around the arena walls.

Unfortunately the key to the door is on the arena floor, pretty much the opposing end, away form a door in the midle of nowhere and close to a floor grate decoration - it's a grey key so tough to see

Thanks Beowuff, I found the grey key, hope it is not the Skeleton key , I alreadu used that, but cannot find the solid door you mentioned. Could you please give me the bearings using the map provided on this site.

Thank you

There isn't a map on this site - this is a forum. Unless you mean the Encyclopaedia. But the door, I think, can be found if you turn left and follow the left-hand wall after stepping out from the stairs from the previous level.

If you are coming from the stairway from level 7, just turn left and keep close to the wall on the left side. Beware of hidden traps, though. You should find the short corridor with the lock for the Solid Key shortly.

Use the quick link bar on top of this site to get to the Dungeon Master & Chaos strikes Back Encyclopaedia, you will find perfectly detailed maps there.
