Stuck on Level 0!!! Help me please!

Post by vanudomination »

Hello, im stuck on level 0 (The starting level where you choose your characters)

I played DM2 a few years ago and got half way through the game but stopped playing.

Just today i found out how to download DM and i downloaded it!

So i played and managed to figure out my way around the first level until i got to the last door... The door that i believe opens on too the starting level.

I obtained all of the items in the entire first level.

I have found and used all of the keys in the first level to open all but 1 of the doors.

I cannot find anymore keys or items at all, and i still need a key for the last door!

Please help me!

Which keyhole are you trapped at? Can you be a bit more specific in the area and in which key you have used and we might be able to help you

One obvious part would be where you have two rooms, each has a key and those keys open two doors

Its the door after the door that requires the "iron key"

Err...I believe several doors on Level 2 require an Iron Key...

I had this issue once--turned out I had simply not seen the key because it was the same color as the floor. Carefully re-inspect every area you've been to (shouldn't take too long since enemies stay dead), especially suspicious-looking dead ends.

Yes, that is exactly the twin rooms area i was talking about - one room has an iron key and one has a solid key - easy to miss them as they are grey on a grey floor!

If you have missed a key, got to the Dungeon Master Encyclopaedia from the Quick Links bar, there you will find maps with all items including all keys listed. If you only use the maps in a case where you are stuck for a longer while because you missed some key on the floor, it shouldn't spoil too much.
