Retro Gamer 34 - The Making of... Dungeon Master

Post by Steve-B »

Has anyone seen the latest issue (34) of Retro Gamer magazine. This is a UK based magazine dedicated to all the old classic games from the 80's and 90's: http://www.retrogamer.net/

There is a four page 'Making of' feature about Dungeon Master and a damn good read it is too. Seems to be very well researched and has plenty of information not featured in EDGE Magazines' Dungeon Master article.

Its basically an interview with Doug Bell, who tells the story of the beginning of his company and how his game 'Crystal Dragon' eventually became 'Dungeon Master'. The article features scans from the Dungeon Master Encyclopedia and the website and Christophe get a mention as well. Top stuff!

Loads of very interesting info about DM and well worth buying the magazine just for that one article! :)

Scanning mine now! Unless anyone posts here during that time, I'll edit this post when I'm done and give a link to where I've uploaded 'em...

Probably best in the other thread in gaming news!

Hmm they do look small don't they...ach bollocks...that would be Photobucket resizing them then, 'cause they were fine in Pantbrush. In fact they were huge, lol.
