dm-rtc version - stuck on riddle room level (5?)
What is the correct combination for the King Filius/explorer of combinations room? what happens when you push the buttons in the right order?
Also, what do you do in the room that states, "I don't like to be ignored"
I found a button to push, and a toggle floor plate, but so far, all I have seen are the golden rings eyes spitting fire and skeletons." Is there anything else to find there? Thanks for any information/help you can give me.

King Filius - I'm never sure of the right order myself. I just run round pushing the four buttons in some semblance of a logical order until the wall opens (in the back-left corner from when you come into the room).
At the other bit you mention, with the button and the skellies and beholders...umm...I think that's the bit where there's a button at one end and that opens a wall where there's another button which umm..opens a wall back at the first bit, I think. And I think there's an iron or solid key on the floor in one of those alcoves. Um. You could check a map on teh DM Encyclopaedia if you get really desperate. Or umm...wait for someone else to post something vaguely helpful here

I'm with Ameena on the combination, I always try it out until the wall opens up.
The other part holds some minor treasure with the wall switches Ameena already mentioned and with the pressure plate you mentiond. Lure a monster on that plate to open up a wall temporarily near it. But there is nothing really important there, the actual way goes on at the other corridor, the one that reads "I hate cowards" (at least I think that's what it's called).

Yes, it is - "I hate cowards" and "I don't like to be ignored" are the two paths. I think the former is blocked by a couple of locked doors at first though. Can't remember - been a few months since I played it hehe.

After entering King Filius grave, you only need to push the button on the left once and the the left one of the two buttons opposing each other once. If you have pushed several button already, this isn't true anymore. Each button is just a binary switch, so there are 2^4=16 possible combinations. Declare the current combiation to be your virtual 0000, then press a button and say its 0001, then press that button again and press another one and say its 0010 and so on. Lay down different items on the floor before each button in order to mark them if you can't remember the combinations you're already through with.
The area with the skeletons has several secrets. In that skeleton/wizards eyes room there is a button near the entry that opens up a secret room on the other end of that area. There you'll find another button which will open up a secret room near where you found the first button, there are skeletons and some armour inside.
Also, there is a small secret room containing some items, it is only open while some character or creature is standing on a certain pressure pad, so you can guess how you get there.

Thank to all of you for all of your help. In the King Filius/explorer of combinations room, if you numbered the buttons from left to right 1-4, the right combination is button 2, then button 1. It opens the alcove. If you push button 1, then button 2 it will not work. I haven't tried the "I dont like to be ignored room" yet, but I will keep in mind what you have said. Thanks again.

I have played RTC in most releases including the latest one (V0.44) and I do not have any problems with that puzzle. There are still some very minor bugs in the CSB dungeon (nothing that affects playing the game much), but in the DM dungeon I couldn't find any bug way back now, and the above discussed puzzle has been working fine for ages in RTC.
