Where is the fireball spell in RTC?

Post by Pickwick »

Hey everyone, just started to play RTC today. Used to play the original on the Atari ST ages ago. Anyway I'm on Level 3 and haven't found the rune scroll to make a fireball. Did I miss it?

You don't get it until level 7 or eight actually!

Learn those lesser used offensive spells like poison bolt and poison cloud!

Or play the RTC dungeon "Original Dungeon Master" where you can use all runes just like in original DM.
Parting is all we know from Heaven, and all we need of hell.

The Fireball scroll is on Level 7, on the floor in the short corridor between the two sets of stairs.

RTC made me realise the utter greatness of poison cloud/bolt. Previously I'd always been a fireball spammer, but being without it for so long made me experiment and I'm glad I did. Certain things just crumble when faced with a bit of poison.
