Heh, I got my epic weapon and made it legendery! Pity about the whole 'no nemisis' part! And being late for work because of that! Weird how I just happened to make a meat helmet right before the second part of thee quest or else I would have been stuffed!

I also just got a chocobo - but might steal more coco egg parts to make a lucky egg too

YES!

A combination of a few menions and hiaikus on the KoL forum, a reference on the wikipaedia, and most importantly just finishing my epic quest so havign the right final item leads too, hopefully...

ADVENTURELESS COCKTAILCRAFTING!

You know, until the thing blows up.

Still, until that day, I should be able to serve all the clan needs without knocking my own adventures as I have been doing. Plus, you know, a cocktail will not need adventures to gain adventures. Hmm, pity I went and got really drunk, probably won't let me mix right now!

It works!

All I need is the right alcohol and the right avenaced items and I should be able to feed the clan with top-notch booze :D

I've ben messing around with my own adventures and cocktailing for exploring the gammery (I need to level up a bit to carry on the castle and macguffin quests I think)

However, I then noticed the stash of alcohol that appeared in the stash, so without further ado I give you:

9 duchas de oro
6 pink ponies

At least I'm starting to figure out stuff to do with umbrellas and coconut shells, all my previous stuff needed cubes alone.

Still, I think I've just wiped out my stash of accessories after hrding them for so long, so can only craft three cocktails a day, more if I can find additional accessories in passing. Tom, if you have any umbrella,s ice cubes or coconut shells, dump them in the stash!

wow, pity I used up my adventures. The last couple, I notice that my damage i was taking just dropped by 20hp per blow.

If I could only shake the tetanus, i think I can actually survive the black forest/market and sky castle now!

Weird...dunno if it's a certain sub-level, or just a cut off in moxie to take less damage. Any ideas?

Dunno...I notice hard fights suddenly seem to get easier once I ding a level. Once I'm done messing around, I have a few nasty ghosty-things I gotta beat who been kickin' my arse and who need elemental damage to hurt...so I gotta equip my Ninja Hotpants and stuff for that. Still need that last bone though...rest assured I will post a bit of wootage on here once I've got it :D.

Cool...I'm just using my adventures now, trying to get that bone. But I just remembered something I was gonna ask - either of you experimented with toast yet? I figure there's probably plenty you can do with it to make it give you more adventures...mind you, it'd probably require doing some Baking (or Cooking or whatever the skill's called in KoL, err can't remember) which I can't really be arsed with but still...

Oh, must admit not made bread yet - only started getting seriously into cooking (made a spicy bean burrito that gave around 7 - 10 adventures yesterday).

Hmm, i guess there must be some way to make jam, like strawberry or cherry jam?

If anyone finds a disembodied brain, then we could create a campside helper like my barman to make food for free for a while :D

Oh, now I completed my epic quest, managed to get access to the bugbear bakery - woohoo! Hence why my cooking might kick up a notch, not relying on losing adventures in fernathy's tower and cobb's knob

I'd dump the brandies, they give like 5 adventures, but then there are a ton of cocktails atm that will give you much more adventures in the stash! :D

Bread? No, I meant toast...the toast you get out of the toaster...
I think I have a few disembodied brains...I'll stick a couple in the stash if I do...check it out.

Edit - Yes, I had six. I've put a few in the stash.

Cool, I wish I hadn't sold that second box now! Need to adventure for it tomorrow unless you have one

Oh, I'm logged into the chat just now

EDit: Ok, if someone has a box and spring, combine them, add the chef's skull from the stash and then add your ez bake oven and you can get free food

Actually, if you have two more brains, and lots of smart skulls, then there is really nothing to stop us from manufacturing

If you have another brain, then you can create beer goggles from two beer lenses for a bartender head instead so you can get free cocktails too!

Actually, sorry, Tom can still make cocktails, so yeah, if we can get another tow brains :D

It's funny you mention that. I just happen to have two. You can get those at Fernswarthy's you know, along with a lot of other food and cocktail items. I hunt there when I'm feeling creative.

I made both a bartender and chef for my campsite. I also learned there's a clockwork bartender who lasts twice as long. You can make him once you unlock the gnome tinkerer.

If you have another brain, you could make a meat maid. She cleans up your campsite and gives you 4 adventures per day. The recipe is surprisingly similar to the meat car.

I think I'm gonna spend today collecting.

Well, that was a successful day!

-Lucked getting a bounty for the sky castle, and completed it
-Was a moron and accidentally spun the garbage wheel back and forward, even though I knew what it was for - but then that meant I managed to put it round the opposite way instead so I got some additional moxie and gained a level to level 12!
-Managed to add 6 lhic eye pies and 2 cocktails to the stash (need the forum so I know what I can use umbrellas on! I have some gin and vodka from Tom, but no receipies yet! And the strawbetrry wine and daquiris and margaritas all look sad, waiting for shelsls and cubes)
- created a WANG, though I do not believ it's useful for the castle though the game, and seems to be a chat helper thing (or chat slap for bad spellers!)
- got to the hole in the sky though think I will buff up a little or find some good protection first
- Most importantly, collected so much money we now have 100,000 in the clan stash - so we can get those self help books!

so woohoo!

I decided to try out some of those tasty concoctions you left in the stash. They're pretty fierce. I've got two levels to go before I can unlock the Wok of Ages and start making killer stir fry. I'm collecting ingredients right now so I'll have something to work with later, and then I can start contributing food that does the same thing but without the drunkenness.

Meanwhile, I'm lining myself up to start the orc/hippie war, and that will take a long time. I've got both sets of war fatigues, but I'm not going to trigger the war until I'm good and ready to keep at it. It takes over 500 turns to finish the "right way" — minus whatever it takes to do sidequests — so I'm steeling myself for that.

Yeah, anything that used a cube, umbrella or shell to make gives you 10-14 adventures but at 4 drunkenness. I have alot of the lesser ones still in my inventory if you want any to top yourself up.

I've heard for the war that while you can play on both sides, it's best to just pick a side and go with it!

When I get onto the war quest, I'm just gonna see how it goes when I do it - I'm not looking up on sites for any help with any quests unless I'm really really stuck, in which case I only look up what I have to do to get to the next bit. Anyway, I'm still on the MacGuffin quest for now and will be for some time, I expect...
And if we indeed have 100k+ in the stash now, I shall invest in those books today. What shall we save for next? :)

We now have books!
And I still don't have that last bone. Arrgh :P.
Anyway, when I have spare meat I shall continue to stick it in the stash...when we've got another 50k or so I'll look and suggest what we might purchase next...

I say the playgirls of loathing - umm, you can choose the boys instead if you like. 3 adventures per day!

Hey, Tom, which items did you have when you started combining for the black market? Actually, Ameena, you've done this one too, right?

I got the broken wings, and the black armaments, a black no 2, black moccassins, plack picnic basket (again) black pension cheque (keeping this one) black snake skin and an adder bladder

Am I waiting for new quest items first or do I have it all?

Ideas have been putting wins to my shoes, putting wings to the map, repairing the wings to be able to use with blackberries and black snake skin, and trying to form a baloon thingie from the broken wings, adder bladder, snake skin and picnic basket

anywya, I'll keep advernturing unless I hear I should stop and figure it out

Edit: Nm, I had a pair of sunken eyes I forgot about that were also in the quest area

Only twigged when I saw them later, and wanted to try them out and see what they said - then realised thewy were a quest item.

Can't see why the wings and eyes alone would swing it though!

Yeah, me either. I actually reported that as a bug, because I'd been questing there forever and still hadn't found anything that made sense. Realized my mistake afterward. You can cash the checks.

I'm gonna wait a couple levels before I start the war, so I'll spend my adventures collecting money and goodies. For the guild!

Lol, cool, I'll use up all the resources for selfish ends then :D

Actually, you get alot of meat atm for the quests, so I should be able to get a few of the old skills under my belt aswell as documents, etc

Re the blackbird, I mean each new item is a partially digested, I should have spotted it was a quest item (there is a bug i need to report about my version of firefox not showing the windows right so I don't see the full info on some items) but still. I would assume the panther and adder ones would therefore combine with a spider one too. Or something

Ah well, usually there's more cool stuff than bad stuff with this game, so onwards I go! Tomorrow...I messed up with my choice of drink and went over drunkenness!

You guys been trick or treating yet? The Black Armaments alone is worth spending all your adventures, but the Frat Warrior Fatigues give you some good stuff, too. If you guys find another good high-level costume, let me know. I love the holidays in this game.

Sorry, forgot your time zone was different. It wasn't Halloween for you when I posted that. Go to the main map and click the pumpkin. By the way, I can conjure dry noodles now, so if you guys want some special food items, all I need from you is the second ingredient. Here are some combos:

tomato = adv: med; stat: low all
herbs = adv: med; stat: low to high moxie
secret blend of herbs and spices = adv: high; stat: high mystic
jabañero pepper = adv: med; stat: med muscle; also heals
pr0n legs = adv: high; stat: high moxie
wad of tofu = adv: med; stat: high mystic
spices = adv: med; stat: none

I can also make pasta with advanced sauces, but I can't make sauces.

OOh, both ameena and i might have some pron legs

Hmm...or did i sell them :(
I think i sold them

I put 5 rolls in the hay, an ocean motion and somehting else in the stash today - thanks tom for the alcohol, it made the paper umbrellas fly out of my inventory. Unless anyone gets spare stuff, then I'm down to three advanced cocktails a day! Thoguh I think there are drops of the three advenaced things in various places

And yeah, seems like we needed a pastomancer in our guild to combine with you!

I am a pastamancer. We need a saucerer to complete the food circle. We ought to have a seal clubber, too, for weapon smithing. Only seal clubbers can craft the really good staves.

I haven't been on vacation for a while. I'll take some island trips and see if I can't get you a few paper umbrellas.
