DM Direct X or Open GL

Post by Pilotwings_64 »

Does anyone know of an exact clone (no alterations in content) of DM using Direct X or Open GL?
I would like to use FRAPS to create gameplay movies.

The only two clones that are direct ports would be CSBwin and DSB, since CSBwin used the source code and DSB used CSBwin as a source basis

Not sure what they use though

RTC uses Direct X, but all the 2D drawing stuff. I've used fraps to capture stuff from it, but it's very slow and got very messed up and missed loads of frames. That could be caused by my video drivers or any other possibility and I never looked into fixing it.

I have made movies of CSBwin games.
Not the 'Reord/Playback' but mpeg streams
that I put on DVD. There is some feature
in CSBwin to make this possible. If you
are interested, I'll look into it again.
