I'm using the lightning bolt to fight the cursed knights, this time.
I try to play in spurts, so the game lasts. Meeeeemmmmrrriiiieeees!

Most attacks will kill any monster after enough time, but we know for certain from looking at the source code that lightning bolts are not very effective against Knights. Quicker methods of killing them come from the hand weapons I mentioned.MasterWuuf wrote:Lightning bolts will eventually kill the cursed knights. (patience)
I really haven't noticed any other spell effecting them.
And Beo, he listed the other two. You're wlecome.MasterWuuf wrote:Thank you, thank you, Gambit. You're my hero for the week.
It can't be done -- DM limits the number of different types of monsters you can have on each floor, and even if you could somehow herd the dragon to the scorpion level, it would die instantly.MasterWuuf wrote:Now, just explain how I can herd the dragon, a couple of scorpions, and maybe a few other beasties, to different floors, so I can start a DM Beastie zoo, and you'll have my undying appreciation for a lifetime.![]()
Not in the original game engine -- there's a limit to how many different types can be put on each level. You'd need a modern clone like RTC or DSB to have no limits on monster placement.Ameena wrote:But you could always just make your own dungeon in one of the editors and put whatever monsters you like in it.
