A new way to experience Dungeon Master
Yesterday I installed the Homebrew Channell on my Wii and one of the first things I tried was to run the Wii Amiga emulator (Uae4Wii) and play Dungeon Master!
I can tell that playing with the Wiimote on a larger screen (My TV) connected to a proper HIFI set makes DM new and fresh again!
PS: Right now the emulator has some sound/mouse emulation glitches so playing effectively is not so easy but the feeling I had yesterday evening was strong anyway.

Baught the Wii some months ago. But all wiigames i played are really boring and stupid.
So i installed Wiibrew and the Amiga, SNES and Scummvm emulator.
Now playing Dungeon Master, Monkey Island, etc..
I don`t have any problems with the sound, only the wiimote is strange to handle.
Some good wine needs his time in bottle ...
Best regards from Spain,
Ben

Another new way to experience Dungeon Master is to strip down to nakedness, smother yourself with chocolate syrup and gummy bears, and then play Dungeon Master using only your tongue to control your keyboard and mouse, while your pet dog or cat or turtle licks your feet.

Wait! What? How did you know how I spend my spare time!Christopher wrote:Another new way to experience Dungeon Master is to strip down to nakedness, smother yourself with chocolate syrup and gummy bears, and then play Dungeon Master using only your tongue to control your keyboard and mouse, while your pet dog or cat or turtle licks your feet.

I don't believe it. A dog would never "lick your feet" if you were "smothered with chocolate syrup and gummy bears". Actually, a PROPER dog (or at least this beast we have at home) would ignore your feet - he would rather eat all the chocolate and gummy bears... and you... finally killing both you and himself (being overeaten).

Re: A new way to experience Dungeon Master
I thought dogs would die if they ate chocolate (since it contains a chemical called theobromine which their bodies can't break down, and because they tend to wolf down their food and so take it in faster). Then again, I have known people who freely admit to giving their dogs chocolate and reporting no ill effects. I wouldn't want to take the risk myself (though I've never had a dog).

Our dog must have eaten tons of chocolate in his life, with no obvious negative result (he's about 12 years old). And he also loves green peppers and plums and peas and... simply anything consumable.
And before him, we had a fox-terrier (I love fox-terriers), and when there was a ledder at a plum tree in summer, she used to climb it up to get the plums, and she got always stuck there on the ladder (for she was not able to turn) and was not able to climb down, so we had to climb there and bring her back.

I've heard dogs can die from eating chocolate, and I also heard of a dog who ate a plate of about twenty chocolate brownies and it survived. Either way, I've never had any food on my feet when my previous pets would lick them, which I did not enjoy.

Re: A new way to experience Dungeon Master
I just purchased a couple of 17 inch Dell LCD monitors, as well as two 18 inch Dell LCD monitors.
I found the 18 inch ones after buying the smaller ones. grrrr.
And here I was all excited about playing DM on an 18 inch monitor.
I think I'll pass on the choco-covered naked option.
Pet or no pet, the kids would definitely be stunned into cardio-arrest. (har, har)
Errr, even English chocolate, Gambit. (hee, hee, now THAT's a horrid aside)
