id like to create something like a sticky bomb that will stop a monster from walking around and will wear off. he should still be able to attack. can anyone think of a way to do this?
also is there a way to freeze life a single monster?

Have an item that when it explodes trigger a convert on that tile. Create the immobile versions of your creature. There might be ways to block monsters too.
Similarly to the freeze life for a single monster, but with no attack.
I forget if you can read or set the health of a monster via a relay and counter, if so then no harm done from the conversions.
This method might be a little long winded, but at least it lets you select monsters with vulnerabilities to the weapon, or monsters who are partially/fully immune by altering the cloned monster abilities.

This works for a thrown potion, but what about for a weapon attack, such as the mace's stun? Any way to do this?
