I just read an interview with Tim, Graeme and Bill in Word magazine. Apparently The Goodies was *never* repeated by the Beeb, which is one of the reasons why they are forgotten heroes of comedy.
They were asked about the Goodies movie that never happened and admitted it wouldn't've been as good as the aforementioned Life of Brian (my favourite comedy film of all time). There was also a bit about "Last of the Summer Wine" which suggested it was influenced by The Goodies (can't see the similarity myself except that it is three men) and the interview ended with the suggestion that as they were now rather old....
