Last night I had a quick "now, where was I" look at my game and realized: one click, one way down and...
tadaaaa !
The city is free.
I have finished Conflux !
Well, ok, just reached one of the endings.
('finishing' is a word hardly to be used in association with Conflux.

)
The timer says: 619000 (43 ingame hours?)
59 unique mosters slayn.
46 points on the competition scroll.
one ending reached another ? to go.

And Antman, do you go down pits at all - sometimes that's a good way to explore in conflux. I believe the mace is with

, though this might have changed
I still say the south of the bridge you click on a wall item to get to. Sadly away this weekend, but just realised I do have old gambit maps and an old viewable copy of conflux dungeon to look at.

Hi all !
I restarted a new game with this new version. Always a good game but the fizzling spell bug is boring (:x

)
Funereal, unique : Waraxe, Thorn, Branch, 2 zaps, Rope, 2 Daggers, Furx, Rapier
Dragon Armor, Crown of the kings, Destroy the Council : done
Now, the only problem is that I don't know what to do ... (apart do the endings of my 3 guildmasters).
I had some questions (riddle, info ...)
_1_ I had some objects of the guild (3 maces, 3 shurikens, 1 corbum, 3 priest staff).
I had used some for get the crown and rapier. Is there another place that I can use these items ?
_2_ The water is very strong. OK and ? Riddle or just "atmosphere" for this level (L fountain?) ?
_3_ Is it possible to stop the water generator in sewers (Aquatuna ... You know, with the 3 fountains).
_4_ Lost wand ? sewers are full of club, flowers , pods ... ? Is it in sewers ?
_5_ How to kill the balrog ? (i have repair the last bridge).
_6_ Altar of Knightmare. Is there a reward for kill lord chaos ?
_7_ Apprentice Room. I dont understand ...
_8_ Maps : I dont find the map of Spider level. Where is it ?

1. Not sure, there used to be only that area - I think an additional one was added somewhere else
2. The water is just something to fight through, there is othing major around
The L Fountain is a in-joke for Fountain-L = ChristopheF
3. No, just posisible to fight through long enough to get in there
4. Lost wand is just down from a pit for mthe cellar. You need to follow the map (and realise the start point) in the cellar in order to not close the long lost wand pit off though
5. The same way gandalf did it!
7. It's turned into a massive sub-set of quests in itself, You need to access it by cleanign the floor. Therefore, you need to get the correct spell. You need to then recognise you have been given access to the spell!

Kid_A: 3. The first thing you can do is to quit stepping on the triggers for their generator. Look for green stains at the center of the tiles. The second thing you can do is kill them off completely. When you kill one elemental, the other three try to flee and get to a grate, where they disappear. The problem is that when they do, they trigger the generation of a new batch of 4 at the aquantana fountains...
Also, it is possible to get in and out of this area, collecting the most important item there is to get, without triggering a single elemental. Well, that's not quite true, you trigger one on the way out, but by that point you don't care anymore.

To Antman: You're right, you don't need four characters.
As for getting around the bridge, I don't have Moria mapped and haven't looked at the online map for quite some time and I haven't played it in a while either. If I remember correctly, it is blocked by a pit that can be turned off right before you cross it. I don't remember what closes it (a wall button I think) and I think you trigger it again when you reach the other side. That is where you insert the club.

Gardening challenge: What are stone mushrooms supposed to do exactly? They don't seem to do anything in my game, except maybe create vexirks?

Beowuuf, I think I've been down every pit in the game, except the one at 00,31,11, I closed it before jumping down so who know what could be down there, but I still can't get across the 3rd bridge! I'll wait for parallax to update the maps.
Lich Vecna has the funeral mace? I hope not, he's ultra tough.

Stone mushrooms make ashes and more stone mushrooms. It is almost useless and terribly annoying.

HIJKLMNO, I don't understand this riddle in the water level.
This riddle is a terrible, horrible pun. It is in the very back of a backwater, abandoned level for a reason.
Lich Vecna has the funeral mace? I hope not, he's ultra tough.
Come on, she's not so tough. Don't turn around more than you need
poison shooters trigger when you do and they do a lot more damage than Vecna
and you'll be fine. Stick to making healing potions and bashing her with a blunt instrument and you'll do fine.

Hey Zyx,
So, on top of the flask bug I mentionned to you (don't remember if it's wine or vinegar), I have another very strange bug.
I get the "swift dagger" message when I put a spore on the eye of one of my character !!! So a spore has become the funereal dagger... but I can't use it as the dagger, it's still a spore...
Don't know if you want a savegame or not.

You can uncurse Halk's armor with blessings (I don't know why you would though).
If the pit at 00,31,11 is the one I'm thinking of, It isn't closed, it just looks closed (is it the pit near the funereal sword?).
I never tried blunt weapons on Vecna. I bet that's easier than the swift death I use against her.

I think the stone mushroom feature is broken is Bugfix3, or maybe just my game, do you want me to send you the save game Zyx?

Kid A 8. The spider map is the reward for one of the tribute riddles, I think for Druafang's one.
Also, how come in my newer game, a Deth Knight carrying the Darc helm appeared in the sewers? I don't think this happened in the first game.

Another salve of questions :
1- cross of eckhart : what does that do ? a scroll says greed of file... what does that mean ?
2- gift of tamiel is only protection right or more ?
3- Confuse spell from wands, what does it do ?
4- Calm spell from wands, what does it do ?
5- calm spell from wands, what does it do ?
6- I got the one ring. It's not cursed or anything. Where/how shall I use this ?
7- Wedding ring... how useful ?
8- Vampiric dagger : is that a useful weapon ?
9- Bones of Lor (cursed) : how useful ?
10- Loot of repository... interesting or not ? (I have solved 3 maybe, the others I can't find)
11- I think I'll never start over... how do you get 2 corbums/2 staves at the beginning ? just very curious !
12- I managed to kill Vecna but the curse is real bad. Is there a way to kill Vecna (even meet actually for the point & loot in the alcoves) without getting curse ?
13- What does going to the future bring ?

1. I think it repels undead monsters or something.
2. It is Tiggy's special item so it should activate Tiggy's special event throughout the dungeon.
3. It should spin monsters when used on them.
6. There are two one rings, the one in Moria is a competition point and cursed, the other is from the Temple and is useful for taking the place of the Moria ring in an alcove so you can keep the real one ring from Moria.

10. Some of it is interesting, most of it is lame and some of the riddles are pretty ambiguous, I had to guess most of them I think.
11. Extra stave by moving through a fake wall right next to you at the very begining of the game, before you fall down the pit to the guild area. Extra corbum by heading some of stairs at the begining somewhere before you choose a character, or before you choose Gando at least.
12. Competition points, and it's kind of interesting. Which reminds me, was this what you were refering to when talking about doing the cruel pit with one character, Parallax? It doesn't work, I tried.

Just killed Vecna, Yay!
The EE blessing cures all the curses, I remember somebody mentioning the curse was too much to handle earlier, but it's easy to cure and it only costs one of the many coins you get.
Zyx, don't worry about fixing, I don't want to kill Vecna all over again.

Throbben door in Temple level. Is that the one that keeps opening & closing when you click on the lock ? If it is, then I have the hint from the forge but can't figure this one out.

I removed the fake one ring for the next version. Antman, the mushrooms cycle is broken. I can't fix it easily, but I'll prevent this bug to happen again.

The ninja one is quite obvious, a thief should know where he is at all times. However, to find it you will need to explore i nthe highest dungeon level (beside the KATH vinegars somewhere)

2. Gift of Tamiel is Gando's item if I am not mistaken. Tiggy's is the Hellion, I'm pretty sure of that.
8. Vampiric dagger: I have not tested it, so I'm not sure how useful it is. Why don't you test it and tell us?
9. Bones of Lor. Supposedly you can raise Lor. Once again, why don't you try for glory and bragging rights? (or better yet, for posting on the Wiki)
10. Some of the items are not worth the cost of solving the riddle. Most of it low-level stuff, since the repository is accessible fairly early in the game.
12a. The cruel pit takes an item to solve. Items of that type are available from two sources. The obvious one, and then a special location in the dungeon.
13. The future brings old bones, new keys, and possibly the last challenge of the monks.

8. It's pretty good, the effect is
it grants some health back
9. They are just for show, you need somehting else to ressurect the man. Those playing with darker spells might start to guess what it could be.

im trapped at the "way of tzu"...
there are 2 doors i cannot open, a button at the middle which generate 1 time all monster back, one door i come from with invisible teleporter...
i dont find way out of this place
