The Map

Post by sucinum »

- i want the map from csb (or DM2)
- a display of weapon damage and armor defense like in DM2
- a 100-mirrors hall of champions with ability to edit stats/pictures
- the ability to chance any layout of items/monsters and walls/objects
- the item layouts of DM1, CSB and DM2 to choose from

- The CSB map is already in RTC
- Why?
- I think RTC only supports the original number of champions, but George can tell you more about this
- Of course - that's the whole point of RTC!
- I think DM1 and CSB stuff is included, but not DM2

In the original DMNew champions seemed like any other object present on a tile, so I don't see why new ones couldn't be created too

Does anyone have a DOS grabber programme to get all the wall textures/items/monsters in DM2, or at least be able to screen capture them? I know one was done for DM...
Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!

As per Gambits replies but also:

2) Weapon damage ratings; No. I think it takes some of the mystery out of the game, so am not going to implement that (see a long discussion in another thread!)

3) There are an unlimited number of mirrors (or any other object for that matter) available - they're all defined in the *.RTC file and not hard-coded into the main program; you can have a 1000 big HoC if you want (although the RTC file might be a bit large!).

thx, good work George.
To be honest, i dont have RTC atm, but i can tell/guess MANY of the math things in DM (like wounds, nourishment etc, if anyone asks), cause i have completed the original game over 50 times, if anyone likes.
2) ok, no problem, i can live without :)
