Green gem trick

Post by beowuuf »

How about giving the green gem/'put the gem back' part aproper puzzle/meaning? (I know this was mentioend aaaaaages ago)

It was an answer that Gambit gave on the encyclopaedia forums today, but it got me thinking that it might be a cool idea for RTC.

What Gambit suggested might have been the original idea, was that the greem gem switch would have been a hole, and you had to put the green gem back into it to open the grate (and form the green gem switch).

It always bothered me that there was the additional pit there, and i never figured out why, but it makes sense if it was one of the only ways to get the chest if you hadn't thought to chase after it earlier.

Just a thought, anyone?
