Only a very minor detail: If you press the Enter key when you are still outside the dungeon entrance, it triggers the "enter dungeon" button. But since you need this button much less often, than the "resume" button, it would be more reasonable, to link the latter one to the enter key.

It's the Enter key that activates the Enter button in the original version, so it makes sense to keep it the same. Plus the fact that Enter=Enter! :)

Yes, but otherwise you can accelerate loading your savegame by hitting the Enter-button several times. The enter button on the other hand is needed only very rarely.
