Monsters triggering / not triggering floorpads

I did a little research yesterday, and found out that

1. Following monsters don't trigger the floorpad when they step on one but I think they should:

VEXIRK_BROWN
VEXIRK_GREY
LORD_CHAOS
LORD_CHAOS_CSB

I have always thought these monsters are not floating?


2. Following monsters trigger the floorpad, but I'm not sure they should:

RIVE
WATER_ELEMENTAL

These monsters crawl on the ground (don't float), but these also fall into category of non-material, don't they?

However it needs to be thought of that are these cases DM-intended behaviour, or bugs.

For this RTC is behaving as intended. The Vexirks and Lord Chaos all could float over pits in DM/CSB and so they do in RTC too Likewise Rives and Water Elementals didn't so they don't.

As you say though, should it be this way?
