RTC v0.24
There are some serious bugs with the wand and theo wand when I played return to chaos... I had hisssssa, stamm, nabi and gothmog...stamm had no mana and i was trying to get up his mana with the wand, I used calm 3 times and he advanced one level but when i put the wand back into nabi's and gothmog hand all their skills was away, I couln't use calm, spellshiled, fireshield. Please check this out. i now something is wrong...

I can't find a bug anywhere in this code. I suspect that you were deeply unfortunate and the wand "ran out" of charge at the same moment that you transferred it from one person to another.
If so, then this is working as designed (i.e. after a certain number of uses, a want can no longer cast any spells).
