Hmm - I don't really understand what is going wrong; can you explain it again?

Cheers,

George

OK, I will try to explain it:
When some monster is scared (I encountered it with mummies) and tries to run away, it can sometimes get into the dead end corridor. When the monster is on the end of the dead end corridor and my party blocks only exit from that, mummy starts to turn around since it could not go anywhere - it looks like dancing :) . I think monster rotating should not be so frequent. But someone else wrote that it looks as if monster is in chaos, but I think it is not so good - at least monster should realize that only what it can do is to fight to free exit from the dead end.

DM seem to have a recheck of morale if a monster was trapped like that, with a high chance of them snapping out of it. Many time I'd have Blue Ogres runing off, but if i made the mistake of cornering then against a door, etc then they'd suddenly turn around and thump the party - the same was noticed with skeletons.

Fair enough - that makes sense. Currently in RTC, when a monster gets "the fear" it runs away a set distance (the exact number is dependent on all sorts of factors though). If you trap it, then it can't run away that far so is constantly striving to get away - I'll change it such that if there's no hope of escape it'll start fighting again.
