In DM, when achieving a new experience level, the stamina points awarded are reasonbly high - in the tens to twenties. In RTC it only seems to be 1 or 2 points. Is this an arbitrary figure, or connected to the experience model outlined previously? Either way, it's way too low and is affecting the performance of my party far more than it should be.
I can check this more definitely if you need exact figures.
Stamina increase with experience is too low

Estimates
There's a table on the "DM & CSB Encyclopedia" which claims that you gained 1 stamina per level (F,N,P or W). This is definitely not right for the old Amiga version at least.
There you could always expect to have a stamina of about 2/3 your health, more or less, as the levels went up.
Stamina is a strange thing because it isn't really needed very much. But I think you need more of it than RTC gives right now.

I saw that table too - and I emailed Christophe, the guy who runs the site to tell him it's wrong. He checked again with his source who maintains that it's correct, but it's definitely not. Unless the ST version had very low Stamina scores and that's what it's based on - the Amiga and PC versions are much higher, as I said before - in the 10s to 20s.
Stamina in RTC does not appear to go down when you throw obecjts around - which was great for getting Ninja levels fast by throwing the chest at the door. However, walking around does deplete stamina in a similar amount to DM. So it's all gone to cock basically... it's clearly unfair to deplete stamina that much but not give back anything when the experience levels go up.
George, what are your figures based on? If it's the table on Christophe's site - it's wrong!

Re: Stamina increase with experience is too low
As I said in an earlier post priest levels definately gave alot of stamina compared to magic users and i'm sure was comparible to ninjas (i forget how they all compared to fighters) sothat's wheresome of the stamina gain has gone... I normally only have parties with about 120 odd give or take 20, now thaey have about 80 - so it's not huge drops.
I also agree, stamina use seems odd too...maybe the regeneration model again? The forward fighters seemed to never need to heal from staimna depletion, towards the end both magic users would need a top up for lowering stamina - they are on 84/91 compared to 77/66. I say towards the end as during most of the game no one dropped too much.
Poor george, tweaking tweaking everywhere, and not a drop of quantified complaints!

Was unable to (permenantly) kill off ian_scho (Haynuus), Ameena, oh_brother (Westian), money (Falkor), raixel (Petal) and Lord_Bones (Aurek) in the DM D&D game Time's Champions!
CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WHO MADE THE GAME WHAT IT WAS - GREAT!
