This is something I've known about for ages, but keep forgetting to post. Either the walls are too high by two pixels, or everything else is too low by two pixels. here's some examples:

Oh, and what *is* that hole in screen shot 05? All the wall cracks I've seen when playing DM look more like a V and are in the centre of the wall... where does that one come from?

You may be looking at these screenshots wondering where the errors are:
The alcoves have dark lines at the very edges which should match the dark lines of the wall--they are clearly out.
The slime outlet and crack should cover the white line of the lowest brick--they are currently just below it.
The grating is clearly too low, extending beyond the wall
In the first screen shot, you can see a pit above the wall.
