Desktop image (warning: 1024x768 in image here!!)

I finished the new scene picture and I liked it so much I made it a desktop picture.

I updated the image. The gemstone now looks more like one ( I got a lot of "what's that green thing on the desk?) so I figured it needed some work.. I also added an ink jar with a feather since it made sense and I added a little shading to the book..

but is it me or does the gem perspective make it look pereched against something, not flat?

it's perched against itself. you know the green gems how they're shaped right?? ( this is DM remember )
