Stone golem graphics

Post by PicturesInTheDark »

When playing a DM game with the CSBwin 9.6 engine something ocurred to me which I had not recognized before: when facing a stone golem with one field between you and the ugly brute he's having his club over the left shoulder (from his point of view) - when he's directly in front of you it's on his right shoulder.

I was wondering it this was always like this or if I was seeing a peculiarity of CSBwin. Experiences, comments are qelcome. Did not check it in any other game yet.

atually it will flip from right to left shoulder when facing towards or away from you.. it flips the image in the engine.

Just one of those limitations on the animation of the characters. memory and disk space.. etc..

Great, for some reason thinking about the weird waddling club shift the golems do is now making me sing this:

Golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem

giggler! gigger!

Golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem golem

giggler! gillger!

argh! a worm! a horrible worm!

etc.

I can't rememebr the link that inspired that...if you don't know it, you don't want to see it anyway : )

Edit: http://www.weebls-stuff.com/data/toons/badger.swf is the link

Don't forget the addiction. Even before I was playing Dm at times but now I'm even re-playing all of the series including extra dungeons or just checking for mechanisms... I seriously doubt that is normal behaviour :D

Heheh,

I had no idea you lot would be into weebl :)

Check out

www.weebl.jolt.co.uk and watch the episodes of weebl and bob - lots of good stuff.

Also check out the main site www.weebls-stuff.com

There is another link (not for children I might add - for those who think Itchy and Scratchy in the Simpsons is funny)

http://www.happytreefriends.com/watch_episodes/

Quite amusing the lot of em.. Happy Tree Friends is quite sick so be warned.
Regards,

Andy
