Does anyone know if carrying a shield in the left hand actually makes any difference in combat? It may look natural but an empty flask is a much more convenient thing to have there and I personally have not noticed any real difference by not having a shield available to block with.

I not sure but you could allways find a way to wright the creator and ask him.
