Thank you for your replies, however I still cannot get started! I know how to get to ms dos mode but as for running a mouse manually etc I am affraid I do not have a clue.
If somebody could be so kind and patient to this computer illiterate Dungeoneer as to give me a blow by blow account of how to set things up I would be very grateful.
PS once I get started I will be more than willing to impart some of my many happy years of Dm Knowledge if it is required.

My copy of DM2 included this little proggie:

bootme.exe was designed to create a dos-based bootdisk for windows machines. Give it a try, maybe it`s all you need. ;-)
