Can I play DM on Windows XP ?
Can I play DM on Windows XP ? Ever time I try I get no sound. I tried VDMS selecting Sound Blaster with no success - any special config to know about ? I tried Dos Box - No Sound Again ! I used to play on a Atari 1040ST and badly want to play again. All tips are welcome ! Thanks !

Hello Maxspeed!
I have played it on XP and it works perfectly, but I used the remake for Windows that you can download from this site. Just go to Generals to the left and chose "clones" and you should find CSB4win and/or Return to Chaos. They are both two fantasic versions.

Alternatively, use an ST emulator (eg Steem) and the ST files on this site, and you will get exactly the same game you knew.

I have a SoundBlaster Value Live or something like that. I am going to look for that Windows clone so I do not need DosBox. Cheers !
