Stuck on level 3
I'm stuck on level 3... There are 4 switches that have to be clicked to open a metal door. What is the order that they need to be clicked? Or is there some other trick I need to know?

Can you specify where exactly those switches are and if you start your level count with 0 or 1 ?

Re: Stuck on level 3
I should mention that I am playing DM-JAVA. Just in case that has different maps. I have the editor and the cursor shows the co-ordinates in the form of: 3,28,15. Those are not the exact ones but I think that they represent level, NS co-ordinates, EW co-ordinates. After going down the stairs from level 2 there are rooms on either side of the stairway. In each room is a pressure pad that opens-closes a door at the ends of a hall that runs perpendicular to the stairway. Also in each room is a switch on the wall above the pressure pads. Thru the doors at the end of the perp. hallway there is another hall on each end with small rooms (3 I think) In one room on each end hall there is another switch. On the editor they all link to a metal door that is parallel to and behind the stairway.
I just loaded the editor and the level is the 4th map even though the co-ordinates show the above format. The first floor is in the form 0,23,14.
The metal gate is EW facing and there are words to the effect "4 switches ..... who is fast enough" or something like that.
I bashed all the doors (wooden ) and gates (so I wouldn't have to step on the P pads again) And the last door can't be bashed. So I assume I have to flip the switches in a certain order. I have tried starting in the SE corner and progressing up and around to the NW corner, but by the time I get to the gate it isn't open.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well I am afriad it has new maps and I have not played it so far. Write an email to its creator (alandale@hotmail.com) or specify which maps you are using (there are several listed in the clones section of the general part), so I can have a look at the map editor (if that works) and maybe find something out.
One more thing: iIf there's 4 switches to be activated in a certain row, just numerate them and try all combinations - it's not that many and basically the same as the "explorer of combinations" in the original DM.

You might also try the dedicated DM Java forums -- it has loads of players who never come to these other Dungeon Master websites, so someone there can probably help out.
