RTCED Bug - Change item placement behaviour on walls

Post by Gambit37 »

Currently, if you place an item on a wall by clicking with the left mouse button, the wall is turned into a floor! This isn't very useful....

Perhaps the program doesn't yet check what is already on a tile. I suggest this be changed so that if you add items on a wall, the underlying wall is unaffected.

This one is an official bug, I was trying to fix it last night but I decided to release it anyway. Im pretty confident I can fix this tonight and it will be certainly sorted for the next release as it annoys me as well :)

There is a thread regarding this as a bug which is more accurate so I will change the topic of this thread so I dont get confused :)

And currently the program does not check what other items are on a tile but does check what the tile type is you are placing it on.

Fixed in rev.6 (I hope)

Cheers
Regards,

Andy
