Change object type of an item in the editor

Post by Gambit37 »

Didn't really know which forum to post this is, but I guess sugesstions is the most appropriate:

In the editor it's not possible to change a monster type once it's been set. Could you add a drop down menu to the editing window for monsters, so that the type can be changed easily?

It will be done. I am going to do this for other things as well like DOOR objects. So if you want to change a door type, it is far easier.

If you change an object category though, eother it will simply delete the object and add a new one automatically, or just tell you to delete the object. (probably the latter for now) :)

Ah, no this was meant for George's editor -- hence the difficulty in finding the right forum....

Although, I guess it applies to yours too!

Hehe, but mine didnt have this either, so now it does as well.

I have categories of objects. So you can instantly change them from say a MONSTER_SCREAMER to a MONSTER_MUMMY. It must be the same size though or it wont work. :)
