The hairy carpet monsters....

I was reading an article in an old Amiga Format magazine (Issue 13, page 20) about how games are influenced by movies. One part of the article talks about how TV has an indirect influence on games. Dungeon Master is then mentioned as an example. Here is a quote:

"The hairy carpets that pass for rock monsters in episode 26 of Star Trek look suspiciously like the rock monsters in Dungeon Master."

I wonder what these carpet monsters look like? Anyone got any pictures of them. What do you think of the resemblance between these Star Trek "Carpet Monsters" and the Rock Monsters in DM.

lol, funnily when i first saw them in DM that was what i thought : )
