Amiga 3.6 & Windows/Linux Version of DM: Co-ordinates?

Post by Guest »

Sorry folks, this is probably a lame question but I cannot figure it out. I have noticed that people talk about Dungeon Master with co-ordinates / levels of the room they are in; and that the hint files also correspond to them. How exactly; do I find out what co-ordinate or level I am at?

This is only helpful if you're viewing maps that have the coordinates printed on them. You can't find out the coordinates directly in the game.

You can find the coordinates of any point in the dungeon by opening a dungeon.dat file in a program such as CSBuild. Or you can use the maps on the Encyclopedia which have the coordinates on them:
