Translations available?

Post by Rox271 »

Hi all, this is my first post.

Been playing on Atari when I was much younger so I simply love this port that I just discovered.
Actually I would like my son (10yo) to play with this. The only issue is that he doesn't speak much english. Is there a french translation of Dungeon Master available that he could use?

Hello
The "encyclopaedia" at the Quick Links has a multilanguage version for Pc.
But it looks like you discovered/mean csbwin by paul stevens; I think, there is no french version for this.

Quicklinks are at the top of every page of this forum.

Not sure if the multilanguage versions are easy to run on Windows....

Thanks for the information.
Ok I found the quick link as well as some translations but none for the windows version.
Bah, nothing critical.

Here you come to the section for dmpc(if you have not already found it ?):
http://dmweb.free.fr/DMDownloads.htm#Du ... 20for%20PC

http://dmweb.free.fr/Downloads/DMPC.rar
This link should download .

i forgot to tell you that it requires Windows95 /98 i.e. msdos...
Probably you have a newer "Windows"- version,2000. nt .xp

you can use "dosbox" / use a boot diskette.
It is described on the webpage how to run it;
and dosbox programme is a bit tricky, there is some thread here (i think in dm2)..
hope this helps. I do not know exactly for myself....
