Discuss Chaos Strikes Back for Windows and Linux, an unofficial port of Chaos Strikes Back to PC by Paul Stevens, as well as CSBuild, an associated dungeon editor.
I'm running this version, CSBwin98v27.rar, in Win XP. The DM map
Just the thing that I explained in the topic happens.
Very funny tho but I don't think that is how it should work
Wow, you should design dungeons Paul, you have very nasty ideas!
ZnOOZer: this is happening just because of some new changes in the latest version. Either wait for a short update or try the version 98v25 (or earlier) of CSBwin.

v27 already ? I'm still using v16 or something... Isn't there a thread warning about version updates or do we just have to check the size4demo.rar file from time to time ?
usually it's only in the solutions to bugs that its mentioned, but it is announced there
paul seems to be of the opinion that unless you need the new features he is tinkering with, or want to helpplaytest them, best to stick to older stable versions, which he does announce from time to time on the main thread
Unless you're creating a dungeon with the newest features for DSA, you don't need to update CSBwin. The new versions only fix bugs for features that no current dungeon uses...

And the newest versions commonly break things that used to work.
Zyx and I are sorta brainstorming and testing as we go. Like this
business of health potions subtracting instead of adding.
