Couple of Q's

Just a quick question or two...

I know the Rabbit's Foot adds 10 to the hidden Luck stat, but what I'd like to know is this:

According to the DM Encyclopaedia, Boris has 25 for Luck. Is this the base value therefore increasing to 35 from the foot, or was the base 15 and the 25 is already increased? (Since it states the attribute is active if the foot is anywhere in the inv.)

Also, on the encyclopaedia it shows the base stats for people like Nabi and Chani on Mana to be 13 and 17 respectively, even though they both have equipped the Staff and the Moonstone which raises it to 15 and 20 respectively. However, I noticed that with Gothmog... his DEX shows as 43, but that's only with the Cloak of Night equipped (+8 ) which makes the base DEX 35. Is that an inconsistancy in the encyclopaedia that hasn't been noticed until now, or is it known and kept that way deliberately?

BTW, by no means am I criticising the encyclopaedia or Christophe, I think both are absolutely great! I was just wondering that's all. I wonder a lot

As you say, it seems to be an "inconsistency in the encyclopaedia that hasn't been noticed until now". When I find some free time I will fix that. The numbers on the page should not include the bonuses added by items in inventory. I will however indicate more clearly that champions do have bonuses to their stats coming from their initial equipment.

In fact I'm quite happy when people find such mistakes on the web site. It proves me that some other people do have interest into these futile things too. I feel less lonely

So thank you and don't hesitate to bring up all the other errors you may find, as insignificant as they may be.

Cool, as I say it was by no means taking a shot at you and I felt a bit weird asking lol but I was curious and I'm glad it wasn't taken personally

The only other bit of info that I can think of like that is the Load of Linflas being 49KG, but that's only because he has the Elven Boots equipped. Otherwise it's 46KG. (Not saying the boots give +3 to Load, but rather 1-14 depending on STR, as you already note).

Any idea about the Luck of Boris, and whether his base stat is 15 or 25?
I ask because I'm in the process of making a few spreadsheets with all the character info for personal use, like I said, I wonder a lot

EDIT: BTW, the spreadsheets were the only reason I noticed any of that anyway, otherwise I'd never have realised lol. Just mentioning that because to some it might seem I was trying to pick at your work looking for mistakes, which of course I wasn't.

I will have to check for the Luck attribute.
Again, I will be quite happy if someone spends enough time to check all the information on the site looking for errors, it will only lead to an even better and reliable web site.
