New DM Walkthrough

Post by Ian Clark »

I came across and old floppy disk the other day containing a DM walkthrough that I had written on the Atari ST years ago, it was about 70% complete so I thought what the hell, I have some spare time on my hands, I completed it and you can find the finished product here: http://www.raftersclub.co.uk/dm/

Let me know what you think.

Oh and if anyone wants to use it on their site, please feel free.

Cool! Seems good : )

You might want to note to players about the expereince modifier for actions on the various levels - so while you might light to prepare a spell if you know it as soon as charatcers are resurrected (like fireball for tiggy) it is best to use it on level two for more experience
You might want to note about bashing doors with low stamina or strength less than 39 will not work (for none shall pass, etc)
The King Milius room you only need to click two of the switches, its the left most two (just checked!)
I think for the arena you could mention that room with the delta stops the fireballs if you kill the creatures
For the 'Cowards will be hunted down' on level twelve, I have a funny feeling you never run out of Oitus, you need to reduce the numbers to a low level them freeze life or just run in and take out the last few before they can trigger replacements (anyway who played recently confirm that)

Anyway, that's about it : )

Updated, thanks.

There is a small delay in the Oitu generator so I have added a note telling the player to be quick.
