I just wondered if that was really the way the atariSt or amiga versions worked back then.
I remember playing a game with reincarnated characters (hawk was one of them) and he could chop with a sword or melee a minute or two earlier than my other fighter (hissssa, before they/he leveled up); which, now seems a bit impossible to me, if he had been swiped of all his fighter levels to get that boost of hidden melee skill.
then again, maybe it is possible.
I believe it could also be one of the differences in amiga version;
so I ask if relevant hidden skills code was opted out of csbwin/lin or if it is as has always been. *rolleyes*
hidden skills set to zero when reincarnating..

nevermind. Did not want to sound ignorant! I was just shocked that all experience is being set to zero.
It is quite logical, though!
But I have another question: Attacking does use up Stamina points, as does moving around in the dungeon.
I wonder how many fields you can move until ? points of stamina are substracted from your characters´ staminas.
I guess it is not as simple as "per y tiles moved, loose x stamina"
because there will be vitality and load and food and water involved... So yeah.
