how do i open chests?

how do i open chests?

although i know im being stupid and it must be really simple but i cant open any chests!
i look at them with my champions eye, which opens them, but as you have to hold the button down to keep looking in the chest you cant move to pick stuff out or put stuff in!
please help!

put them in the right hand and look at your inventory screen

No it hasn't, now people ask even better questions like 'how do I make a potato gun?' and then share the experimentation in elaborate detail!
