Loading a Saved Game While In-Game. Just Can't?

Messages are moved here (should anyone ever want to see them again) once they are no longer applicable to the current version (e.g. suggestions that have been implemented or bugs that have been fixed).

Perhaps I'm stupid but you can't load another saved game while you are currently playing a game.

...or even after you die...

Could this support possibly be added? Just a "LOAD GAME" button, please.
