[Fixed for V0.38] Disappearing item upon touching switch
I just played RTC V0.37 O-DM, and when I touched the switch in the mummy/screamer-level at z01/x16/y42 while holding a shuriken in the party leaders mouse-hand, the shuriken disappeared, and that's not what it is supposed to do. I didn't test different items, but I imagine that disappearing keys could result in serious problems.

Err, now I'm completely confused - As usual I've been using the coordinates of the Encyclopaedia maps. The switch I'm talking about is on these maps west of the tile where item nr. 29 (falchion) is also located, and on these maps this tile does have the coordinates z01 (mummy/screamer-level) x16 (horizontal) / y42 (vertical).
However, I just opened the dungeon with RTCs editor, and in the editor it has completely different coordinates, namely 16,28,1 .
I always thought the coordinates of the maps and the editor would be identical? Have they always been different and I'm missing something here because I just got up from sleep. or have the relative coordinates changed at some point of developement?
Time stamp of the RTC.exe: Created on tuesday february 21st 2006, last change wednesday april 5th 2006, last access today april 21st 2006.
Is that what you wanted to know when asking for the time stamp? To make sure I will email my RTC-exe to you.
If you already have a newer version of the RTC.exe like a V0.38beta I'd be happy to betatest it.
I found other small deviations from the original dungeon too. The wizard's eye generator that actually should be a skeleton generator at Enc. z05/x05/y24 (RTCEd 0,19,5) has already reported by me in a different thread, as has the "test of strength" at Enc. z05/x15/y15 (RTCEd 10,10,5), that apparently some friendly monster solved for me before I even arrived.
I found another one; lol, I really have considered to skip reporting it, but alas, than it wouldn't be the DM dungeon anymore: That annoying spinner in the rats' level at Enc. z08/x14/y35 (RTCEd 2,30,8 ) is not working for some reason, albeit it is there according to the Editor. Same goes for the teleporter in the delta section of the void, Enc. z07/x23/y41 (RTCEd 3,30,7). Also, the various spinners in the void's main chamber that make the fireballs from the northwestern shoot crisscross the main chamber (I skip the multiple coordinates for now) do spin the fireballs, but not the party, and I think I remember that originally it had been spinning the party also - which I always found annoying; however I'm not sure anymore whether this memory is from FTL-DM or some in-between clone version).

I'm not certain about this, but in my current game in the RTC dungeon I kept the mirror of dawn when using it upon the eye in the stone pile level. I think I vaguely remember that in the O-DM dungeon it's been swallowed by the eye, so this might be related to the item-swallowing switch mentioned in my above post. I'm even less certain about how FTL-DM handled this, but I think it kept the mirror. It's not important to me, since I usually clean out the entire dungeon anyway, but for someone taking a straighter walkthrough, it might make a difference whether he is allowed to use the first mirror found upon the other 2 eyes or not.
