[Fixed for V0.41] Key buffer wiped on pause

[Fixed for V0.41] Key buffer wiped on pause

If you quickly press movement keys followed by ESC to freeze the game, sometimes the engine does first highlight the proper movement arrow, thus showing that it did register the key pressed, but then goes into game freezing without executing that movement, neither before nor after the pause.
